The objective of the present research is to measure the level of life satisfaction of Khasi
people of EKH District on the basis of sex, age and locality. Total 100 adult people
were covered from Shillong City and Mawphlang Village. Life Satisfaction Scale (LSSSJ,
2015) by Dr. (Mrs.) Promila Singh & George Joseph was used to study the variable.
Descriptive survey method was used. Data were analysed by mean, percentage and ttest.
There is no substantial variance in life satisfaction level of Khasi people in context
of gender, locality and age. However, there was a significant difference among Khasi
People in context of age and locality on their life satisfaction as per the level. The
outcome of research will help to evaluate the factor of people’s mental health and wellbeing,
also counsellor can address this issue during counselling
