The aim of the present study is to investigate the impact of mental health on bullying (i.e.
bullies and bully-victims) among adolescents. 300 adolescent boys (150 bullies and 150
bully-victims) were taken as a sample. Purposive sampling is used for the collection of
data. Boys within the age range of 15 to 18 years are taken as participants. A sample
is collected from different areas of Uttar Pradesh such as Lucknow, Kanpur and Unnao.
Mithila mental health status inventory by Kumar and Thakur and Illinois bully scale by
Espelage and Holt are used as tools for data collection. For the analysis, Critical Ratio
and descriptive statistics has been used. There is a significant difference found in the
mental health of bullies and bully-victims among adolescents. It is seen that bullies have
poor mental health in comparison to bully victims.
