The present study examined intellectual functioning, adaptive functioning, and caregiver
stress across three groups: children with ASD (n = 10), children with ADHD (n = 10),
and neurotypical children (n = 10), aged 6–12 years. Intellectual functioning was
assessed using Binet Kamat Test of Intelligence for Indian Children (BKT) by Kamat,
adaptive functioning was measured via the Vineland Social Maturity Scale (VSMS) by
Doll; and Bharat Raj, and caregiver stress was assessed using the Parenting Stress
Index–Short Form (PSI-SF) by Abidin. Results revealed significant associations between
intellectual functioning, adaptive functioning, and caregiver stress. Further analysis
revealed significant group differences in intellectual functioning, adaptive functioning,
and caregiver stress among the sample. Significant prediction was also observed among
the psychological variables
