The current study aims to delve into the interrelationships between religiosity, emotional
intelligence (EI), and resilience, particularly with regard to the Indian cultural context.
By exploring the interaction among these variables, the study focuses on providing a
deeper sense of understanding their impact on the ability of an individual to withstand
adversities in life. With respect to the study’s findings, resilience increases with higher
emotional intelligence levels (R² = 0.0573, EI= 0.192, t=4.66, p<.001). However, there
is no significant meaningful relationship between religiosity and resilience (r = -0.008,
p = 0.88) and the association between resilience and emotional intelligence is not
significantly moderated by religiosity (B=0.00, SE=0.00, p=0.336).
