Secondary school teachers have experienced a significant effect on their work-life
balance, professional dedication, and engagement due to the rapid digitization of
education. This study analyzes the impact of digital tools and technology on instructors,
highlighting both benefits and drawbacks. Digitization enhances work engagement and
commitment by augmenting flexibility, improving instructional efficacy, and providing
access to resources for professional development. Nonetheless, it also induces techno
stress, escalates effort, and obscures the boundaries between professional and home
life, potentially leading to burnout and diminished job satisfaction. The findings indicate
that digitalization can enhance education, but its effectiveness depends on institutional
support, adequate training, and legislation that promotes sustained digital integration.
To optimize digitalization benefits while mitigating drawbacks, solutions encompass
balanced hybrid education methodologies, clearly delineated work-life boundaries, and
structured digital literacy initiatives. This study revealed a considerable impact on work
life balance, work engagement, and professional dedication.
