uncertainty, perceived stress and maladaptive perfectionism among Indian non-clinical
young adult population aged 18 to 30 years. The data was collected through method of

of 149 participants (88 females and 61 males) provided responses to standardised selfreport
measures including Uncertainty Scale Short Version (IUS-12), Perceived Stress
Scale (PSS-10) and Frost Multidimensional Perfectionism Scale (FMPS). Through
Spearman’s correlation analysis it was found that a strong positive relationship exists
between intolerance of uncertainty and perceived stress, intolerance of uncertainty
and maladaptive perfectionism while moderately positive correlation was found between
perceived stress and maladaptive perfectionism.
