Orphans often face unique challenges and adversities that can impact their psychological
well-being and future aspirations. This research paper aims to examine the relationships
between resilience, self-esteem, personality traits, and educational aspirations among
orphans. Understanding the factors that contribute to their resilience and educational
goals is crucial for designing effective interventions and support systems. In this study
investigator used child and youth resilience measure by resilience research centre,
self-esteem scale by Sharma and Hussain, Big five Inventory by John and Srivastva,
level of educational aspirations by Yasmin Ghani Khan. The findings of this study
reveal that resilience, self-esteem, agreeableness, conscientiousness and educational
aspirations are significantly correlated with each other. The findings of the study have
important implications for policymakers, educators, and practitioners working with
orphaned children.
