Migration can be stressful because of the societal shifts and adjustment processes
that precede it. This study investigated the relationship between perceived stress and
social support among migrant students in Bangalore. A sample of 190 students studying
undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in Bangalore was gathered for this research.
The Perceived Stress and Social Support Scales were used to evaluate them. The data
was analyzed using SPSS 25.0 software. The study found no significant relationship
between perceived stress and social support among migrant college students, nor
were there significant differences in perceived stress, social support, gender, arts, or
scientific streams. Undergraduate students showed a comparatively decreased degree
of social support than postgraduate. Social support among females was also determined
to be higher than among males
