Psychological Well-being and Quality of Life among Differently Abled University Students: A Cross-Sectional Study

The current study aimed to investigate the psychological well-being and quality of life
of students with disabilities and evaluate the association between the two. Purposive
sampling was used to choose 60 differently abled students from Jagadguru
Rambhadracharya Divyang State University in Chitrakoot, Uttar Pradesh, India, between
20 and 35 years old. Psychological well-being and quality of life were measured using
the WHO quality of life scale and the Ryff psychological well-being scale. Written
informed consent was obtained for every subject. The University Ethics Committee has
approved the study. Psychological well-being was strongly linked to the quality of life.
There were no significant disparities between male and female disabled students in
various aspects of their quality of life.
