Mental health of young people is a growing concern today. There has been a substantial
increase in the psychological disorders in recent years. Emotion regulation skills are
critical in the mental health in the individuals. The study intended to assess the role of
difficulties in emotional regulation on the internalizing behavior of Youth. The study
was conducted among youth ranging from 18-30 years. Difficulty in Emotion Regulation
Scale and Revised Anxiety and Depression Rating Scale respectively were administered
to measure the level of emotion regulation and internalizing symptoms. Correlation
Analysis and One-Way ANOVA were done to analyze the data. It was found that
emotion regulation significantly influences internalizing behavior of youth
