The purpose of the study is to explore the difference between Performing artists (Singer,
Dancer) and Visual artists (Painter) in terms of Subjective Wellbeing and Mindfulness.
The study involves sample of 90 individuals divided into 3 groups Singer, Dancer and
painter, 15 male and 15 female into each group, age ranging between 25 years to 55
years with educational qualification at least class 12 level. The results are analyzed by
using Analysis of variance (ANOVA) and Post Hoc for each of the domains. Significant

artists scored higher with respect to well being total, Physical health, Relationship,
Mindfulness total, Describing and Non reactivity domains than Visual artists. Performing
artists and Visual artists did not differ with respect to Psychological wellbeing, Observing,
