To investigate mental health difficulties among school students, with a focus on gender
disparities, utilizing a well-known tool, the Beck Youth Inventories (BYI). The study
could look at how anxiety, depression, anger, disruptive behaviour, and self-concept
differ between boys and girls in the school setting. The study included 102 participants
aged 11 to 17, recruited using stratified random sampling, with 50 boys and 52 girls.
There were no significant differences between boy and girl school students in terms of
self-concept, anxiety, sadness, anger, and disruptive behaviour. We also discovered
that girl school students experienced greater mental health issues (such as anxiety,
depression, anger and disruptive behaviour) than boy school students
