The primary aim of this research is to explore the intricate connections and the noteworthy
variations between locus of control, academic procrastination, and decision-making
styles in a cohort of 350 male (M = 19.77, SD = 1.17) and female (M = 19.65, SD =
1.27) university students, belonging to diverse family types, residences, and occupational
backgrounds. Academic Procrastination Scale by Gupta & Bashir, Decision Styles
Scale by Hamilton, Shih, & Mohammed, and Locus of Control Instrument by Terry
Pettijohn were used for an assessment of the factors. The statistical techniques of
Pearson correlation, an independent sample t test, and a two – way ANOVA were put in
application. The results revealed that, most notably, locus of control showed a significant
effect on rational decision-making style, while academic procrastination affects intuitive
decision-making style. Likewise, there were variations in rational decision-making style
at the level of residence
