Psychological well-being is complex and pertains to optimal psychological functioning.
Employees with psychological well-being show better performance at work. Adopting
coping styles for better psychological well-being is crucial among working professionals
as they have to survive under stress. Coping styles questionnaire and psychological
well-being questionnaire are used to establish the relationship between them by focusing
on the subscales of psychological well-being. Regression analysis was used to
substantiate the influence of coping styles on the subscales of psychological wellbeing. The findings identified valuable insights as to how problem- focused coping style
helps all subscales of Psychological well-being (autonomy, environmental mastery,
positive relations purpose in life and self-acceptance), how emotion-focused coping
styles influence the purpose in life and self-acceptance for psychological well-being
and how low/negative avoidant coping styles helps in personal growth, positive relations
and purpose in life towards psychological well-being among working professionals
