The present study is aimed to find out the relationship between self-esteem and
procrastination among college students. Sample consists of 108 people (71 female
and 31 male). The people between the age group 18 to 25 were included in this study.
Rosenberg Self-esteem scale and Lay Procrastination Scale were used in this study.
Here in this study convenient sampling method was used. The self- esteem scale and
procrastination scale were used in this study. For data collection, survey method was
used. The data was analyzed by using the statistical package of social science spss
20 version. 2-independent samples (Mann Whitney U Test) and k-independent samples
(Kruskal Wallis test) were applied to analyze the data. Results indicate that there is a
relationship between the self-esteem and procrastination among college students.
