InSPA takes care of School Psychology activities in India and abroad. It is a growing
organization with around 400 life members which includes 100 founder members who
were instrumental to form the Association in 2009. It is affiliated with International
School Psychology Association (ISPA). InSPA is regularly organizing its annual
conferences, conducting training programmes on School Psychology and publishing
books and newsletters for the benefit of its members to update advancements in the
field of study. This paper aims at sketch out the details of its genesis and prospects in
the Indian perspectives. This paper highlights the details of its genesis and prospects
in the Indian perspectives. It is a fact that in less than ten years, the InSPA has made
noteworthy contribution in meeting the societal needs and for the development of the
School Psychology discipline in the country.
